This is a wonderful warm place with a serene garden, hidden away in the middle of the city, behind the eleclectic converted bungalow. I love the fresh salads there as well as the great vegetarian variety (not common in this city). My husband LOVES their burgers, and I must admit they do smell great! ; )

When I lived in Houston ten years ago I shopped here every week. Last year I went back and it was so bizarre. it was like stepping back into time. the only thing different was that none of the old cashiers who knew me were there. the produce looked the same. it was amazing.

you can write graffitti on the tables here when you come here to eat. the icecream is fabulous. there used to be a popular bar called 8 0s near here but it shut down.

This place has the best sea food. it is located in an old railway carriage. I love their grilled mesquite shrimp with salsa verde and rojo. the garlic bread and empanada are divine. i have not eaten here in ten years as I no longer live in Houston but i can still taste this dish.
