The Milby bus barn site was formerly the location of the train car sheds and various other buildings utilised by the Houston Electric Railway company which operated Houston's once extensive network of street railways cars. In certain 19th century maps, prior to the Houston Electric Street Railway ownership, the site appears as a "race track", presumably for horse racing and was originally a portion of the 101 acre Joseph Merkel tract.

You have the wrong area outlined here. The stadium was actually located in the parking lot just north of Reliant Stadium

Very good, always leave here with full stomach. Fresh corn torilla chips and freshly made warm salsa and cold tomatillo sauces. Try the fajitas. I usually opt for the tacos al carbon with boraccho beans yummmm.

The VeriZon Theater is favorite haunt for concert-goers because it's so conveniently located you could hop, skip or jump to anywhere you'd want to go in Houston's Downtown District. Really!

Do Not bother visiting. It is a very stale house museum. It hasnt changed since it opened in 1999, plus the director is trying to re-do the history of nthe Masterson family. Total waste of time.
